My Mother My Child
Becoming a caregiver for my mother was never in my plans. I loved her so much but I just knew I could never be her caregiver. God had other plans. Not only did I care for her eight years, I felt God wanted me to write a book about our journey together; and, it was quite a journey! I learned so much about caring for someone else, about myself and what I could do if I had to, and about a personal God Who was with us each step of the way.  My Mother My Child is filled with practical helps and personal stories. Our physician said, “It should be read by every healthcare worker.”

  5. I went to Harmony Heights in the very early eighties. I vividly remember, You, Russell, Laura and Mike. Goinging to church and to as many socials was a respite for my twin sister and I during the turmultuous time we lived with our mother before flying to go live with our father. Though we lived in Joplin for only 2 years, we are both very fond of our
HHBChurch family and the memories we have spending time with church members, away from home.
